A white stone benchtop is usually the largest single surface in a kitchen, so the slab you choose sets the tone for the joinery, the tapware and the light in the room. Europe Imports supplies white marble slabs and white quartzite slabs, all honed, for benchtops, vanities, splashbacks and feature walls.
Slabs can be viewed and reserved through our Sydney warehouse in Kings Park, with supply to projects Australia-wide.

What can white stone slabs be used for?
Kitchen islands. A single, uninterrupted slab across an island is where a white marble earns its place. Calacatta Macchia Corchia and Calacatta Arabascato Corchia suit islands that are meant to be the focus of the room.
Full height splashbacks. Running the benchtop slab up the wall behind the cooktop continues the veining without a change in material. Coordinate this with the benchtop layout at the viewing stage so both come from the slabs you reserved.
Vanities and bathroom walls. Bathrooms see fewer acidic spills than kitchens, which makes them a comfortable place for white marble. Bianco Namibia Verde brings a calm, warm white; Lilac and Calacatta Arabescato Viola bring colour to a powder room or ensuite.
Pairing with joinery and tapware. Crisp whites with charcoal veins, such as White Panda, pair well with black tapware and dark timber. Warm whites with gold or amber veining, such as Cristallo White, sit naturally with brushed brass and oak. Soft grey veined whites suit stainless steel, pale timber and white joinery.

Why Customers Choose Europe Imports
Europe Imports is a direct importer based in Kings Park, Sydney. We work with homeowners, architects and interior designers, custom home builders and fabricators Australia-wide, and we understand that choosing a white slab is a visual decision that needs time in front of the stone. Our team can talk through marble and quartzite, help you shortlist slabs and hold your selection while the fabricator prepares a quote.

Specifying a White Benchtop, Step by Step
Pick the stone before the pattern. Decide first whether the kitchen needs marble or quartzite. If the owners cook often, use citrus and wine, and want a surface that stays close to new, a white quartzite such as Bianco Superiore or Cristallo White is the practical answer. If they prefer the softness and depth of Italian marble and accept a benchtop that gathers a patina, the Calacatta slabs are the reference point.
View the actual slabs. A product photo shows one slab. The one delivered to your fabricator will differ. We recommend booking a viewing, looking at each slab in daylight and reserving the specific slabs you want before the fabricator starts templating.
Plan the layout with your fabricator. On a boldly veined white such as White Panda or Calacatta Macchia Corchia, the position of each cut decides where the strongest veins land. Ask your fabricator to mark up the island, the sink run and the splashback on the slab itself, and to place any joins where the veining disguises them. Fabricators quote on the selected slab, so confirm the number of slabs needed before you reserve.
Allow for quartzite in the programme. Quartzite is much harder than marble, so it is slower to cut and finish. Your fabricator will factor that into price and timing.
Choose honed for daily use. Honed white marble has a soft, low sheen surface that disguises light etching and wear far better than a polished face, which is why our white slabs are supplied honed.
Seal and set a care routine. All natural stone benefits from sealing. We supply stone sealers, including Chemforce Stain Protector, and technical data for each slab is available in our technical information area.
White marble works in a family kitchen if the owners accept that it will etch and gather a patina over time. It is softer than quartzite and reacts to acids such as lemon juice and wine. A honed finish, a good sealer and prompt wiping of spills keep it looking its best.
White quartzite is the most durable white option in our range. Bianco Superiore and Cristallo White are Brazilian quartzites that are much harder than marble and resist etching. They suit busy kitchens where the owners want a natural white stone with less maintenance.
A honed finish gives a soft, low sheen surface that hides light etching, fine scratches and fingerprints better than a high polish. It also gives white marble a calm, contemporary look. All of our white stone slabs are supplied honed.
Our white marble and white quartzite slabs are supplied at 20mm. For a thicker looking benchtop edge, fabricators commonly build up the edge with a mitred apron. Discuss edge details with your fabricator at the quoting stage.
Yes, and we recommend it. Every natural stone slab is unique, so booking a viewing at Europe Imports lets you see the veining in person and reserve the specific slabs you want before fabrication begins.
Both are Italian marbles on a white base. Calacatta Macchia Corchia has bold, flowing veins in charcoal grey, graphite and warm gold, while Calacatta Arabascato Corchia has more intricate soft grey and charcoal veining. Viewing both side by side is the best way to decide.
It depends on the veining. Charcoal veined whites such as White Panda suit black tapware, gold and amber veined whites such as Cristallo White suit brushed brass, and soft grey veined whites suit stainless steel or chrome. Bring a tapware sample to your slab viewing.
Yes. Marble and quartzite are both natural stone and benefit from sealing after installation. Europe Imports supplies stone sealers, including Chemforce Stain Protector, and our team can advise on resealing intervals for your chosen slab.
