Water depth, sky reflection, and ambient light all influence how a blue mosaic appears in a finished pool. As a general guide, lighter blues read aqua and tropical in shallower pools, while mid-tone and deep blues become richer and more intense as depth increases. A standard Ezarri sheet measures 313 x 495mm, covering approximately 0.155 square metres per sheet. Boxes contain multiple sheets depending on tile size (25mm, 36mm, or 50mm), and full coverage data is listed on every product's technical sheet.
If you need help converting sheet counts into total sqm for your pool surface area, our team can run the maths for you. As a rule of thumb, we recommend ordering an additional 10% to allow for cuts, wastage, and any future repairs, all from the same production batch to avoid colour shift.
We post up to five sample sheets free of charge to anywhere in Australia, so you can compare blue tones against your render, decking, and surrounding stonework under natural light. A grout close to the dominant blue reads as one continuous surface and lets the water colour lead, while a lighter or contrasting grout brings out the individual tesserae and the mosaic pattern. For pools, use a grout approved for permanent immersion and compatible with your chosen collection. Ezarri glass is vitrified, so the colour runs through the body of each tile rather than sitting on the surface as a coating or print.
