- Rocky Grigio, from the Rocky range of stone look porcelain with real texture. 60 x 60cm, in 0.95cm for interiors and 2cm for outdoor paving, no sealing required. For a mid grey instead, compare Nuage Grigio.
For a true black look:
- Titanium Gold, a natural granite slab with a deep charcoal and black base and sweeping gold, bronze and soft cream veins, honed. It is the only black based stone we supply, and granite's hardness suits benchtops and vanities. See more on our granite page.

How to use black porcelain pavers in your project
Put the darkest colour where the sun is not. Covered alfresco floors, interior living areas and shaded courtyards are the natural home for a dark floor. For a sun exposed pool surround, choose a paler porcelain or stone for the paving and let the darkness come from the pool interior or a feature wall.
Let the pool carry the black. A dark Ezarri glass mosaic interior, such as Zen Black Marble or Zen Dolerite, gives the deep, reflective water many people are really after when they ask for black, while the surround stays light and comfortable. Test the pairing in our pool design tool.
Use black stone where it performs. Titanium Gold granite suits kitchen benchtops, islands and vanities, where its hardness and etch resistance count. White Panda marble suits feature walls and bathroom vanities, where its veining is on show and wear is lighter. Marble is softer and acid reactive, and all natural stone benefits from sealing. We supply stone sealers, including Chemforce Stain Protector. Every slab is unique, so view and reserve slabs from our stone slabs range before your fabricator quotes.
Check the slip rating for dark floors. Whether you choose Rocky Grigio or a stone, slip ratings are assigned per product and finish under the Australian classification. Confirm the rating from the technical data sheet in our technical information area before specifying it for a wet or outdoor floor.
Rocky Grigio is the darkest porcelain in our range, a textured stone look tile in 60 x 60cm, available in 0.95cm and 2cm. Despite the grey name, the site tags its colour as brown and cream, so it reads as a deep, warm neutral. View a sample before choosing it.
Yes. Dark surfaces absorb much more sun than light ones and can become uncomfortable, or too hot, for bare feet in Australian summer. Keep dark floors to shaded or covered areas, and consider pale paving for exposed pool surrounds.
Titanium Gold is a honed natural granite slab with a deep charcoal and black base and gold, bronze and cream veining. Granite is hard and etch resistant, which suits kitchens. It is the only black based stone Europe Imports supplies.

No. Porcelain, including Rocky Grigio, has low porosity and very low water absorption, so it does not need sealing. Titanium Gold granite and White Panda marble are natural stone and do benefit from a sealer.
Dark floors hide soil and leaves well but tend to show pale dust, dried water marks, salt and footprints. Textured surfaces, such as Rocky Grigio, help disguise light marks. Consider how the space is used before committing to a very dark floor.
