A black stone benchtop is a deliberate choice. It anchors a kitchen, frames the joinery around it and makes lighter materials look brighter by contrast. Europe Imports offers one black based slab, Titanium Gold granite, alongside white marble slabs with bold black and charcoal veining and a dark blue grey quartzite.
All are available to view and reserve through our Kings Park base in Sydney, with supply Australia-wide.

These slabs are supplied honed at 20mm, for benchtops, vanities, splashbacks and walls:
- Titanium Gold, a natural granite with a deep charcoal and black base and sweeping gold, bronze and soft cream veins.
- White Panda, a marble with a crisp white background and bold, sweeping charcoal black veining.
- Calacatta Arabascato Corchia, an Italian marble with a crisp white base and intricate soft grey and charcoal veining.
- Deep Blue, a Brazilian quartzite with a soft blue grey base and amber, gold and caramel veining.
All four sit within our stone slabs collection. Each is a single quarried piece, so the veining on the slab you reserve will differ from the product photo. With a slab as bold as Titanium Gold or White Panda, that difference is significant, and viewing in person is strongly recommended.

What are black slabs suitable for?
Kitchen islands. A Titanium Gold island between pale perimeter benchtops gives a kitchen a clear focal point, and the gold veins link naturally to brass pendants or handles.
Butler's pantries and bars. Smaller spaces take a dark benchtop well, and a bar in Titanium Gold or Deep Blue reads as rich rather than heavy.
Graphic bathrooms. White Panda on a vanity and wall panel gives a crisp black and white bathroom that still feels bright. Pair it with matte black tapware for a coordinated look.
Feature walls and fireplace surrounds. A full slab of Titanium Gold on a wall shows the sweep of the veining in a way a benchtop cannot.
Joinery and tapware pairings. Titanium Gold suits brushed brass, walnut and oak, and works against white, charcoal or deep green cabinetry. White Panda and Calacatta Arabascato Corchia suit black or brushed nickel tapware with white or pale timber joinery. Deep Blue pairs well with brass and navy or timber joinery.
For dark looks around a pool rather than in the house, our Zen range of Ezarri glass mosaics includes Zen Black Marble, a stone look in fully vitrified glass. See finished interiors in our project gallery.

Choosing a black stone benchtop
Why granite suits a dark benchtop. Granite is very hard and much less acid reactive than marble, so a Titanium Gold benchtop copes well with knives, hot pans placed on trivets, and citrus or wine spills. That durability matters more on a dark stone, because etching and scratches on black can catch the light.
Honed changes how black reads. A polished black benchtop reflects everything, including fingerprints and water spots. Titanium Gold is supplied honed, a soft, low sheen surface that softens reflections and makes daily marks less obvious, while the gold veining stays visible. A damp cloth and a dry wipe keep it clean.
Lighting matters more than with pale stone. Dark surfaces absorb light. Plan good task lighting over a black benchtop, and view the slab under light similar to your kitchen before you commit. Gold and bronze veins come alive under warm light.
Fabrication takes longer. Granite and quartzite are much harder than marble and slower to cut and finish. Your fabricator will price and programme Titanium Gold and Deep Blue accordingly, so ask for a quote on the slabs you have reserved.
Mind the vein direction. On Titanium Gold and White Panda, the sweep of the veins is the main event. Ask your fabricator to lay templates over the reserved slabs so veins run with the length of the island, continue up any splashback, and so joins fall where the pattern hides them.
Seal it. Granite and marble both benefit from sealing. We supply stone sealers, including Chemforce Stain Protector, and technical data for each slab is in our technical information area.
Yes. Black granite is one of the most practical dark benchtop choices, because granite is very hard, scratch resistant and far less acid reactive than marble. Titanium Gold from Europe Imports is a natural granite with a deep charcoal and black base and gold, bronze and cream veins.
No, Europe Imports does not currently stock a black marble slab. For a black based slab we offer Titanium Gold granite, and for black in the veining we offer White Panda and Calacatta Arabascato Corchia, both white marbles with charcoal and black veins.
Dark stone shows fingerprints, water marks and dust more readily than pale stone, especially when polished. A honed finish, like the one Titanium Gold is supplied in, softens reflections and makes daily marks much less noticeable.
Titanium Gold is a natural granite slab with a deep charcoal and black base and sweeping veins in gold, bronze and soft cream. It is supplied honed at 20mm and suits benchtops, islands, vanities and feature walls.
Brushed brass and warm gold tapware pick up the veining in Titanium Gold and give the most coordinated result. Matte black tapware gives a more minimal look. View the slab with a tapware sample before deciding.
Yes. White Panda has a crisp white background with bold, sweeping charcoal black veins, and Calacatta Arabascato Corchia has a white base with intricate grey and charcoal veining. Both give a black and white look while keeping the room light.
Deep Blue is a Brazilian quartzite with a soft blue grey base and amber, gold and caramel veins. It is one of the darker slabs in our range and gives a moody, hard wearing benchtop that stops short of black.
Granite is dense, but like all natural stone it benefits from sealing. Europe Imports supplies stone sealers, including Chemforce Stain Protector, and our team can advise on care for your chosen slab.
