Ezarri Pool Mosaic Tiles: Spanish Glass Mosaic Tiles for Australian Swimming Pools
For more than four decades, Ezarri has shaped the world of glass mosaic tile design from a single facility in Lazkao, in the north of Spain. Every Ezarri pool tile is engineered, fired and finished on that one site, giving the brand complete control of every step from molten recycled glass to packaged sheet.
That single-site discipline is one of the reasons Ezarri pool tiles are specified by leading architects, pool builders and interior designers across Australia. As the exclusive Australian supplier of Ezarri, Europe Imports brings that heritage straight to your project, supported by trade pricing, a generous sample service and on-site technical advice.
Ezarri exports around 70% of its production to more than 70 countries, and was the first glass mosaic manufacturer to achieve ISO 9001 certification. For Australian pool builders, owners and estimators choosing mosaic tiles, that means consistent batch quality across colour runs, predictable lead times and a brand whose work appears in some of the most photographed swimming pools, hotels and wellness spaces in the world.
What Sets Ezarri Pool Tiles Apart from Other Mosaic Tiles
Ezarri pool tiles are made from 100% recycled glass, with at least 96% of the finished mosaic sourced from post-consumer recycled material. That gives every panel a quiet sustainability story alongside the visual one. The glass is non-porous, dimensionally stable and colour-fast, so the tone you choose on a sample board is the same tone you will see in the pool five, ten or twenty years from now.
Because the tiles are vitrified glass rather than a coating on a ceramic body, their colour runs all the way through the material. Chips, chemical exposure and abrasive cleaning will not expose a different layer underneath. The surface resists chlorine, saltwater, UV and the freeze-thaw cycles common across Australia's southern climates, which is why specifiers reach for Ezarri mosaic tiles on everything from inner-city plunge pools to alpine spa retreats.
JointPoint: The Backing System That Locks Glass Mosaic Tiles in Place
The JointPoint paneling system is the technical advantage that sets Ezarri pool tiles apart on installation day. Instead of paper-faced sheets, Ezarri uses a flexible polymer mesh on the back of every panel. This approach exposes 92% of the mosaic surface to adhesive, well above the coverage achievable with traditional paper-faced mosaic tiles, and creates a mechanical key that locks each tile into place beneath the waterline.
For tilers, that engineering translates into measurable time savings. JointPoint installs up to 25% faster than paper-faced systems because there is no soaking, peeling or scraping of glue residue from the tile face once the mosaic has set. The backing is also unaffected by moisture, so panels can be laid in damp pool shells without expansion, shrinkage or delamination. JointPoint exceeds the relevant Australian standards for pool tiling and is the recommended choice across our trade network.
Sizes, Finishes and Collections for Every Swimming Pool Brief
Ezarri mosaic tiles are produced in 25mm, 36mm and 50mm formats, with corner trims, cove returns and Safe Step anti-slip variants for stairs, beach entries and shallow ledges. That toolkit lets pool builders treat the entire pool envelope as a single, considered design, from the waterline detail to the last tread of the bench seat.
Across the catalogue you will find calm, classical blues in collections like Iris and Niebla, mineral textures in Vulcano and Gemma, painterly washes in Aquarelle, and bold metallic and pearl finishes in Metallica, Gold and Fosfo. The Australian Designer collection has been curated locally to suit the tones, light and landscaping of pools designed for our climate. Whether the brief is a tone-on-tone resort look, a glittering feature wall or a dark, mineral plunge pool, the Ezarri pool tiles range gives you a strong starting point and the room to refine.

Ezarri Pool Tiles FAQs
Are Ezarri pool tiles compatible with saltwater and chlorinated systems?
Ezarri glass is non-porous and chemically inert, so it does not react with chlorine, salt chlorinators, ozone or UV sanitisers. The recommended adhesives and grouts paired with Ezarri are also rated for saltwater pools, which means the entire tiling system can be specified with confidence regardless of the water treatment you choose.
What grout colour should I specify with Ezarri mosaic tiles?
Grout colour is one of the strongest design levers in any mosaic install. A grout that matches the dominant tile shade reads as a single sheet of glass, while a contrasting grout brings out the individual tesserae and feature blends. Most Australian pool builders specify a tonal-match epoxy grout below the waterline for hygiene, colour stability and chemical resistance. We are happy to send grout sample chips alongside your tile samples so you can preview the effect on your specific colourway.
How much overage should I order for cuts, waste and future repairs?
For standard rectangular pools, plan for around 10% overage. Curved pools, raised spas, lap pools and designs with strong feature walls usually warrant 12 to 15%, since you will cut more on tight radii and want a small reserve for any future repairs. Because Ezarri pool tiles are produced in batches, ordering the full quantity in one purchase is the best way to lock in colour consistency.
Can Ezarri pool tiles be used to refurbish an existing concrete or fibreglass pool?
Concrete pools are excellent candidates for an Ezarri refurbishment. The shell is rendered to remove irregularities, waterproofed with a system rated for pool environments, and the mosaic is bonded directly to the substrate. Fibreglass pools require a specialised mechanical bonding layer and are best assessed on a case-by-case basis. Send our technical team photos and structural details, and we will advise before you commit.
What is the typical lead time for Ezarri pool tiles in Australia?
Stock items held in our Australian warehouse can ship within days. For made-to-order collections, custom blends or large project quantities, expect a lead time of around 8 to 12 weeks from order confirmation. We will confirm exact timing in writing once your specification is locked in, and we work with builders on staged deliveries for projects with phased construction schedules.
